Summary:

Vaccines or “needles” are the best way to protect against some very serious infections. The National Advisory Committee on Immunization (NACI) strongly recommends the human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccine for all females 9 - 26 years of age. HPV vaccine is publicly funded for Grade 8 girls in Ontario.
